The new "Synth EX" library adds 64 patches, expanding the sound palette of this wonderful synthesizer.
"Synth EX" complements the "Synergy" library, resulting in a complete set of 128 patches: patches 1–64 are from the "Synergy" soundbank, and patches 65–128 are from the "Synth EX" soundbank.
This carefully crafted sound pack features 128 presets and 4 patterns, developed using all available engine models.
The pack offers a diverse selection of inspiring sounds:
Deep and punchy basses to drive your grooves
Dynamic arpeggios to add rhythm and movement to your tracks
Expressive synth tones, perfect for melodies, solos, or deep textures
Each preset is finely tuned to showcase the warmth and character of the Roland SH-4d. Whether you're producing electronic, techno, pop, or cinematic music, "Synth EX" provides a perfect palette to expand your creative possibilities.
Loading the set is very simple and won’t take much time:
Connect your computer to the SH-4d’s USB port using a USB cable.
While holding down the [START] button, turn the power on.
Open the “SH-4d” drive on your computer.
Copy the backup file (SH4d.SVD) into the “RESTORE” folder on the “SH-4d” drive.
Once copying is finished, eject the USB drive from your computer, and press the [ENTER] button.
When the message “Completed. Turn the power off.” appears, turn off the unit.
Don't forget to back up your work!
